blog carnival board & staff

The Nonprofit Blog Carnival this month is all about Playing Well with Others. Starting with how board and staff can work better together, improving communications, sharing contacts and fundraising. How program and fundraising staff can work better together, how communications and fundraisers, etc. Some nice nuggets of advice. Often it comes down to: communicate! Thanks to Kivi Leroux Miller for pulling this together.

Greenpeace hijacked some attention from the Belgian Grand Prix to draw attention to the Save the Arctic campaign. Shell’s logo was plastered all over the stage, but all eyes were on a couple of remote-controlled banners that combine the threatened polar bear with a Shell-as-Devil. Here’s a link to a Fast Company article and one to an earlier effort.

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed – we hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.” — Martin Luther King, Jr.
