I’ve never bought a lottery ticket, but I might now. But here’s a lottery that could help us save the planet: Read Helene Gallis’ piece for Worldwatch about a successful Bangalore, India, project where each kilometer passengers travel on the city bus ups their chances of winning a prize.
It’s a great incentive for decreasing traffic congestion, energy use and emissions.
